Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance) – Kuwait

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician supports Southwest Asia Transient Aircraft Services for the U.S. Air Force and coalition forces in Kuwait. Working on a 24/7 flight line, the technician ensures safe, efficient aircraft arrival, turn‑around, and departure operations in a high‑tempo, austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and positioning according to Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute ground handling and servicing tasks required for aircraft turn‑around and mission readiness.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections of vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
• Maintain strict tool control and participate in foreign object debris (FOD) prevention activities.
• Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists.
• Communicate hazards, equipment issues and operational concerns to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• Valid Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work in a 24/7/365 flight line environment.
• Strong commitment to zero‑harm safety standards and PPE usage.
• Willingness to operate in austere, high‑tempo conditions.
