USARCC-SWA Manager

About the role

The USARCC‑SWA Manager leads a globally dispersed team of over 100 IT professionals delivering network and defensive computer operations for deployed military units. Operating in a fast‑moving, multi‑country environment, the role ensures enterprise communications and IT services meet or exceed performance metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage interdisciplinary, globally dispersed IT staff and oversee daily network performance.
• Provide operational guidance, executive briefings and technical direction within the SWA Theater of Operations.
• Lead meetings with technical teams and government stakeholders to address performance issues and plan network changes.
• Monitor service delivery against established metrics and recommend improvements to the service model.
• Produce and review technical documentation, reports and progress updates.
• Liaise with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks and resolve problems.
• Maintain a secure, defensive computer operations posture across multiple war‑zone locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large technical teams under the ITSM/ITIL framework.
• Ability to operate in a dispersed, high‑tempo environment across several countries.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain host‑nation visa and driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills for executive‑level briefings and stakeholder engagement.
