Junior Software Developer – Kuwait

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Developer with around 1 year of professional experience to join our team in Kuwait. The candidate will support the development, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Assist in developing new features and enhancing existing applications.
• Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support.
• Work with databases and perform basic SQL queries.
• Participate in application testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Collaborate with senior developers and other technical team members.
• Prepare technical documentation when required.
• Follow coding standards, development guidelines, and security best practices.

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Approximately 1 year of hands‑on software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of OOP concepts, APIs, and the software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with Git/version control.
• Experience with .NET/C#, web application development, or REST APIs (preferred).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern frontend frameworks (preferred).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies (preferred).
