Visiting Faculty – Accounting & Finance (Kuwait)

About the role

American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking a Visiting Faculty member to teach Accounting and a related Business discipline such as Finance. The appointment is for local candidates and will begin on 30 August 2026, contributing to undergraduate education in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver innovative undergraduate courses in Accounting and at least one additional Business‑related sub‑discipline (e.g., Finance).
• Integrate emerging technologies, including AI‑assisted design tools and interactive platforms, into teaching.
• Develop and regularly update course materials to meet industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Maintain rigorous assessment and grading practices.
• Participate in curriculum development, student mentorship, and university service activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a closely related field.
• Proven university teaching experience in the relevant subjects.
• Relevant industry experience in the teaching field.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Commitment to teaching excellence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted design tools and interactive learning platforms.
