Accountant – F&B Accounting

About the role

WOW MILKY is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of its food‑and‑beverage outlets across Kuwait. The role focuses on daily sales reconciliation, cash control and supporting the finance team with month‑end and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries and financial transactions.
• Reconcile daily branch sales, cash, KNET, online payments and POS reports.
• Investigate cash shortages, sales discrepancies, refunds, missing deposits and branch financial variances.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and follow up on deposits and payment confirmations.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain proper documentation for invoices, receipts, payments and financial records.
• Coordinate with operations and inventory teams on purchases, stock, wastage and cost‑related matters.
• Support payroll records, deductions, staff advances and related accounting documents.
• Monitor petty cash, branch expenses and operational expenses.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly accounting reports for management.
• Assist with month‑end closing and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Direct F&B accounting experience (restaurants, cafés, central kitchens or food‑service companies) is mandatory.
• Experience with daily sales reconciliation, cash control, KNET, POS reports and supplier accounts.
• Basic knowledge of food cost, wastage, purchases and inventory‑related accounting.
• High attention to detail, honesty, confidentiality and accuracy.
• Good English communication skills.
• Valid, transferable residency in Kuwait and currently based in Kuwait.
