Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to manage the full cycle of financial data collection, analysis, recording and reporting. The role supports the company’s financial integrity while ensuring compliance with operational, QHSE and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
• Analyze and reconcile expenditures, revenues and designated accounts.
• Monitor accounts and expenditures, ensuring accurate data entry in the financial accounting system.
• Calculate and prepare reimbursement billings; track payables and receivables.
• Prepare monthly invoices and statements as required.
• Communicate with relevant parties regarding payment issues.
• Adhere to mandated financial regulations, company policies, QHSE procedures and asset management guidelines.
• Provide written or verbal reports in appropriate formats.

Required profile

• College or university graduate in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the F&B sector.
• Technical training certificates or licenses in accounting are preferred.
• Member of the local Syndicate or Chamber of Accountants is a plus.
• Physically and mentally fit for the job.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting and financial control.
• Ability to interpret financial data and conduct research.
• Familiarity with government and financial regulations.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Arabic (preferable).
