Accountant – Financial Reporting & Ledger Management

About the role
This position is responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, managing the general ledger, and ensuring timely month‑end and year‑end closings. The accountant will also support audits, tax filings, and process improvements across the finance function.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure timely reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger on a regular basis.
- Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with tax compliance and filings.
- Monitor budget versus actual performance.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation.
- Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel functions: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, Conditional Formatting.
- Power Query for data analysis and automation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
