Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will report to the Treasury & Accounting Manager and play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records. You will be responsible for timely posting of bank collections, supplier invoices and asset transactions while supporting month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Post bank collections and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Process and reconcile supplier invoices, ensuring payments are made on schedule.
• Maintain audit‑ready supplier accounts and ensure invoice payments are scheduled.
• Record asset acquisitions, disposals and calculate monthly depreciation.
• Reconcile revenue and insurance accounts against system records.
• Maintain payroll postings and cost allocations.
• Prepare accrual and prepaid schedules and review petty‑cash reimbursements.
• Handle additional accounting tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Finance.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with accounting software; familiarity with EMR systems is a plus.
• Demonstrated teamwork and initiative in a finance environment.
