Adjunct Physics Faculty – Part‑time Teaching Position

About the role

American International University (AIU) is seeking qualified physics professionals to join its adjunct teaching pool. Selected candidates will be invited to teach introductory, general‑education, or major physics courses on a part‑time basis, supporting the university’s mission of delivering an American‑style education in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to two physics courses per semester (approximately 6 credit hours).
• Provide mentorship and academic advising to undergraduate students.
• Collaborate with full‑time faculty on curriculum development and course design.
• Contribute to the intellectual and cultural life of the AIU community.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD degree in Physics or a closely related field.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• University‑level teaching experience in physics.
• Relevant industry experience that enhances classroom instruction.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.
