Administrative Assistant – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our yard operations, handling procurement, logistics and day-to-day administrative tasks. The role works closely with the Yard Manager and suppliers to ensure smooth material flow and accurate record-keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Source quotations, prepare supplier comparison sheets and create purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Review shipping documents, verify compliance with purchase orders and release shipments.
• Manage export/import paperwork, receive and inspect incoming goods, and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date customer price lists and accurate timesheets for yard staff and equipment.
• Provide administrative support to the Yard Manager, including correspondence, filing, scheduling and record management.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, operations administration or warehouse/yard management.
• Experience in construction, formwork, scaffolding or related industrial sectors is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier management, purchase orders and shipping documentation.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data management, comparison sheets, basic formulas).
