ADPE Technician – Desktop Support (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The ADPE Technician provides on‑site laptop and desktop support to military and civilian users at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The role focuses on troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network connectivity, and ensuring the stability of both classified and unclassified systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain DOD‑approved communications and security software on government computers.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware problems; refer complex repairs to an external facility when needed.
• Diagnose and resolve Windows OS, Microsoft Office 2007, and Microsoft Exchange Server issues.
• Configure TCP/IP settings, join PCs to Active Directory domains, and set up network printers.
• Provide desktop‑level network connectivity support and manage Outlook configurations.
• Perform other Service Desk functions as required.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED plus at least two years of automation equipment repair experience.
• Valid U.S. passport, International Driver’s Permit (or Kuwait driver’s license), and U.S. driver’s license.
• Pass medical, dental, psychological, and police clearance examinations.
• Ability to complete CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) training for overseas deployment.
