Alternate Site Manager – Secret Clearance for SWA Transient Aircraft Services

About the role

The Alternate Site Manager (ASM) leads day‑to‑day Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) at an assigned Southwest Asia installation, ensuring safe, efficient aircraft arrivals, turn‑around and departures in a 24/7 austere environment. Reporting to the Site Manager, the ASM acts as the authority in the Site Manager’s absence and maintains operational continuity with U.S. Air Force directives.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce a ZERO‑harm workplace by applying flight‑line safety standards, FOD prevention and tool‑control procedures.
• Oversee all TAS activities – aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn‑around and departure – to meet Performance Work Statement objectives.
• Supervise, mentor and schedule assigned personnel across shifts, ensuring 24/7/365 coverage and surge capability.
• Act as acting Site Manager when required, making operational decisions and coordinating with Government stakeholders.
• Conduct inspections and audits of in‑process and completed work, enforce compliance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation, reporting and compliance with Environmental, Safety and Quality Assurance requirements.

Required profile

• Valid Secret Clearance.
• Proven leadership experience in flight‑line or airfield operations.
• Ability to manage high‑tempo, 24/7/365 operations in austere conditions.
• Strong coordination skills with government and military stakeholders.
