Analyzer Engineer

About the role

The Analyzer Engineer will lead a team of technicians responsible for the upkeep of online analyzers, gas chromatographs and laboratory instrumentation at our Kuwait site. You will ensure reliable operation through preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead technicians maintaining online analyzers, gas chromatographs and lab equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Review work orders, schedules and spare‑part needs using a CMMS.
• Perform and oversee analyzer calibration, testing, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Coordinate manpower, tools, calibration gases and consumables for maintenance tasks.
• Maintain equipment history, calibration records and documentation.
• Conduct final inspections, testing and operational adjustments after maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit‑to‑work procedures and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience maintaining and calibrating online analyzers, gas chromatographs and laboratory instrumentation, with at least 4 years in oil & gas, petrochemical or similar process industries.
• Proven experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Strong knowledge of analyzer calibration, troubleshooting, testing and preventive maintenance.
• Experience maintaining calibration records, equipment history and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of industrial safety standards and permit‑to‑work procedures.
