Area Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Area Manager will lead and develop a portfolio of 10‑12 Rituals stores within an assigned territory. Reporting to the Head of Retail or Retail Operations Manager, you will ensure commercial performance, operational excellence, and consistent delivery of the brand’s “Feel Good Experience”.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the regional retail strategy and annual performance plan, adjusting targets as needed.
• Drive sales, KPI performance, and budget adherence across all stores.
• Approve staffing plans, monitor productivity, and promote employee wellbeing.
• Visit each store at least once a month to coach Shop Managers and ensure operational standards.
• Oversee health and safety compliance and provide feedback to senior retail leadership.
• Collaborate with HR, Retail Coordination, Training, and Senior Shop Managers on talent development, store operations, and new openings.
