About the role
The Assistant Department Manager – Legal & Compliance will support the company’s legal affairs, contract management, regulatory compliance, and internal governance. The role ensures that automobile financing activities meet the requirements of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, relevant authorities, and Sharia governance.
Key responsibilities
- Review and manage automobile financing contracts, agreements, and related legal documentation.
- Coordinate with external law firms, monitor case progress, and evaluate service quality.
- Support compliance with regulations issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and other authorities.
- Identify and report compliance gaps, violations, and legal risks.
- Assist the Department Manager in daily legal and compliance operations and supervise junior staff.
- Prepare periodic legal, regulatory, and compliance reports.
- Promote a culture of compliance and legal awareness across the organization.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Law, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in legal affairs, compliance, contract review, regulatory affairs, or corporate governance.
- Experience in financing, banking, automotive, leasing, or commercial sectors is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract drafting, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Practical experience dealing with external law firms and regulatory authorities.
