Assistant/Associate Professor – Fashion Design or Music

About the role

The university is seeking full‑time Assistant or Associate Professors to teach Fashion Design or Arabic Music within its Liberal Arts Department, starting Fall 2026. Candidates will join a diverse, international campus and contribute to a learner‑centered academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update course materials, including syllabi, presentations, and assignments in collaboration with fellow faculty.
• Deliver student‑focused lectures using the university’s learning management systems (Moodle and Banner).
• Design, administer, and grade formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback.
• Maintain regular office hours for student consultation and participate in faculty meetings.
• Conduct scholarly research, publish findings, and support the university’s research agenda.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Fine Arts (with demonstrated experience in Fashion Design) or Music (with demonstrated experience in Arabic Music).
• Commitment to the university’s mission and learner‑centered teaching approach.
• Willingness to contribute to departmental activities, research, and community service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Moodle learning management system.
• Proficiency with Banner learning management system.
