Associate Director of Sales – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Associate Director of Sales will lead revenue generation for Jumeirah Messilah Beach, a luxury beachfront resort in Kuwait. Reporting to senior management, the role focuses on driving group and individual bookings, conference and event sales, and food & beverage revenue while delivering exceptional service to VIP guests.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve financial targets set by management across all revenue streams.
• Manage business inquiries for individual and group bookings, conferences, events, F&B, and outside catering.
• Welcome and attend to the sales needs of guests, VIPs, delegations and royal families during their stay.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain and develop relationships with institutional clients and educate them on products and services.
• Report daily sales activities using the company’s standard reporting tools.
• Organise business entertainment activities to strengthen client relationships and drive results.
• Monitor market trends and communicate relevant news to the sales team.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet or exceed assigned financial targets.
• Experience handling sales for hotels or luxury hospitality venues.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with institutional and high‑net‑worth clients.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver a premium guest experience.
