Associate Inventory Controller

About the role

talabat is expanding its Talabat Mart cloud‑store concept across the Middle East and needs an Associate Inventory Controller to oversee end‑to‑end store operations. You will ensure inventory accuracy, efficient pick‑pack processes, and optimal asset and expense management while supporting rapid 30‑minute grocery delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full store operations, including inventory, pick‑pack, property/asset, standards, expense control and maintenance.
• Implement and monitor inventory processes, shrink/expiry control and fresh‑food quality.
• Oversee pick‑pack efficiency, staffing schedules and service level targets.
• Handle property and asset tracking, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising operational efficiency.
• Define maintenance guidelines, preventive plans and manage engineering contracts.
• Monitor financial and operational performance, budget adherence and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop training programs, staff development plans and enforce merchandising and space‑planning standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in inventory management.
• Highly detail‑oriented, structured and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
