Audit Manager – Banking Sector (Kuwait)

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager to join its Audit team in Kuwait, focusing on the banking sector. You will lead complex audit engagements, build strong internal and external relationships, and ensure high‑quality delivery for clients while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute audit strategies in collaboration with senior managers and partners.
• Perform complex audit procedures and lead engagement teams as required.
• Manage staffing, track fees, and communicate financial and operational issues to project leaders.
• Identify and escalate audit risks, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Participate in business development initiatives to support firm growth.

Required profile

• 7+ years of external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Demonstrated audit experience in the banking sector.
• Strong academic record and professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA).
• Proactive, accountable, and results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and priority‑management skills.
