Audit Manager

About the role

KPMG Kuwait is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements for a diverse client base. The role involves overseeing audit work on‑site, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and delivering high‑quality insights to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise audit teams at client premises, ensuring timely and accurate execution of audit procedures.
• Liaise with senior client personnel to discuss audit findings, recommendations, and resolve issues.
• Apply risk‑based audit methodology to assess financial statements and internal controls.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate junior staff, fostering professional development.
• Prepare and present audit reports, ensuring clear communication of results in both Arabic and English.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• 7‑8 years of external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Proficiency in Arabic (reading and writing) and fluent English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of current IFRS and ISA standards.
