About the role
The Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician serves as the focal point for logistics and repair of ALSE, first aid kits, and Night Vision Devices for deployed personnel in Kuwait.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, approve, and certify maintenance actions on ALSE and NVD, using drawings, wiring diagrams and technical publications.
- Order, receive, inventory, and resolve shipping discrepancies for kits and components.
- Maintain computerized inventories and ensure compliance with inspection intervals.
- Provide instruction to contractor and host‑nation personnel on proper use and care of equipment.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of verifiable ALSE technician experience.
- Valid US passport (minimum 2.5 years), US citizenship, and ability to obtain a NAC‑I T1 Public Trust clearance.
- Ability to meet CENTCOM medical requirements and obtain a Kuwait visa.
- Physical ability to stand, climb, lift up to 50 lb and operate power tools and vehicles.

- Reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical publications.
- Inventory management and computerized record‑keeping.
- Knowledge of aviation maintenance data systems, tool control procedures, and flight line safety protocols.
