BIM Engineer (Architectural) – Full-Time in Shuwaikh, Kuwait

About the role

Khalid Ali Al Kharafi & Bros. is seeking an experienced Architectural BIM Engineer to join its Kuwait team. You will lead the creation, coordination, and management of Building Information Models across the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with client, ministry, and international BIM standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain integrated BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and coordinate LOD 300/310 BIM shop models for all disciplines.
• Create final as‑built BIM models incorporating approved field changes.
• Produce 4D BIM simulations linked to project schedules.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and perform clash detection.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project specifications, client requirements, and ISO 19650 standards.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to manage BIM data.
• Support construction planning, progress monitoring, and reporting using BIM tools.
• Maintain BIM quality, model integrity, and Common Data Environment standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in architectural design and BIM coordination.
• Valid Ministry of Electricity approval/registration (or equivalent authority) for project execution.
• Previous experience on government or ministry projects is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project for scheduling.
