Building Materials & Hardware Tools Sales Representative

About the role

The Building Materials & Hardware Tools Sales Representative works full‑time on‑site in Shuwaikh, promoting and selling a wide range of construction‑related products to contractors, retailers and other customers. The role requires strong product knowledge, proactive client engagement and the ability to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Visit existing and prospective clients, present product features and negotiate pricing.
• Manage incoming inquiries, prepare quotations and close sales in line with company targets.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with warehouse and materials management teams.
• Provide feedback on customer demand, market trends and competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and support after‑sales service.
• Build and sustain long‑term customer relationships.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to assess customer needs and interpret sales data.
• Experience in material handling, inventory control and knowledge of construction product specifications.
• Prior sales experience in building materials, hardware tools or related construction products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work on‑site, manage time effectively and achieve sales targets.
• Relevant diploma or degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
