Business Development Advisor

About the role

Anton, a global integrated oil and gas service company, is seeking a Business Development Advisor to drive new business and investment opportunities in Kuwait. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to evaluate, develop, and secure projects that align with the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop business and investment opportunities aligned with corporate strategy.
• Conduct initial screening, commercial assessments, and economic evaluations to support decisions.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, financial, and regulatory assessments of potential opportunities.
• Develop, review, and manage tender documentation, including commercial and contractual terms.
• Participate in negotiations with potential partners throughout the opportunity development and tendering process.
• Provide commercial, financial, and risk analyses to support management decision‑making.
• Monitor implementation of contractual terms and ensure compliance throughout the partnership lifecycle.
• Manage contract amendments and advise on contractual and commercial matters to minimize risk.
• Assess asset and partnership performance to support renewals and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geosciences, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of technical and commercial experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Proven experience in business development, investment evaluation, asset economics, and opportunity assessment.
• Strong understanding of project economics, financial analysis, business valuation, and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of contract management, commercial negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing complex projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
