Business Logic Expert for AI – English Required (Freelance)

As a Business Logic Expert (AI Community), you will act as the “human logic” guiding AI to suggest relevant products to online shoppers. You will work on massive catalogs across multiple sectors (fashion, sport, high‑tech, etc.) and be responsible for creating coherent product associations, ensuring functional compatibility and guaranteeing metadata quality. Your work will improve recommendation relevance, increase conversion rates and enhance customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Create product pairs: associate items based on color, pattern, style and visual coherence.
• Verify compatibility: ensure products work together for the same use (e.g., technical equipment for gravel biking vs road cycling).
• Analyze metadata: consider gender, price range, seasonality and commercial constraints to validate recommendations.
• Maintain data integrity: structure and clean association lists following brand and category guidelines.
• Sector research: quickly acquire specific knowledge of new product domains (ski, cycling, fitness, etc.) to propose optimal matches.
• Collaborate with AI teams: provide qualitative feedback to train recommendation models and continuously improve suggestion relevance.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in search relevance, product categorization, e‑commerce content moderation or data annotation.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) in any field.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to quickly differentiate complex technical categories.
• Fluent written and spoken English; French is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, rigor and ability to work autonomously in a freelance environment.
• Curiosity and passion for new product trends and AI technologies.
