About the role
The Business Support Specialist ensures smooth daily operations by managing product data, purchase orders, supplier relationships, promotions, and inventory movements. This role is essential for maintaining accurate product information and supporting the supply chain.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain product SKUs with correct descriptions, barcodes, categories, pricing, and images.
- Raise purchase orders to suppliers based on approved stock requirements and follow up on confirmations and deliveries.
- Set up and maintain supplier profiles, including contact, commercial, and payment details.
- Configure promotions and price changes in the system, ensuring timely and accurate launch online and in‑store.
- Prepare quotations and issue invoices accurately and on time.
- Track inventory movements—stock in, stock out, transfers, adjustments—and flag discrepancies, low stock, or near‑expiry items.
- File and maintain supplier and customer contracts, keeping records organized and easily retrievable.
