C-17 Lead Coordinator (Kuwait)

About the role

Boeing Global Services is seeking an experienced C-17 Lead Coordinator to join the on‑site Integrated Sustainment Program team at Al Mubarak Air Base, supporting Kuwait Air Force C‑17 operations. The role oversees organizational maintenance activities and ensures aircraft readiness for mission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple final scheduled maintenance visits, managing plans, resources, and parts availability.
• Direct daily aircraft launch, recovery, pre/post‑flight, and servicing tasks while mentoring a multi‑level mechanic/technician team.
• Maintain continuous communication between touch labor, Field Operations, Boeing support, and KAF flight crews.
• Develop and prioritize maintenance plans, track quality metrics, and initiate corrective actions.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for aircraft condition, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive improvements to mission‑capable rates.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of C‑17 maintenance experience.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance (interim or final).
• Experience in Air Force flight‑line operations, import/export regulations, and Foreign Military Sales environments is highly desired.
• Clean criminal record and ability to satisfy Kuwait labor and immigration formalities.

Required skills

• C‑17 Globemaster III maintenance, aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis, component replacement, and structural repair.
• Logistics coordination, supply‑chain management, and parts availability planning.
• Quality metrics tracking, root‑cause analysis, and corrective‑action development.
• Proficiency with Air Force procedures, technical orders, and maintenance information systems (e.g., G081).
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and multinational sustainment program processes.
