C-17 Product Repair & Modifications Technician

About the role

The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced C‑17 Product Repair & Modifications Technician to join the on‑site Integrated Sustainment Program at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. The role supports day‑to‑day flight‑line and back‑shop activities for the Kuwait Air Force C‑17 Globemaster III fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Perform organizational‑level maintenance on the flight line, including aircraft servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis and component replacement.
• Execute intermediate‑level back‑shop tasks such as component repair, test‑set operation, battery charging and scheduled periodic inspections.
• Lead assembly, disassembly, modification, and overhaul of aerospace vehicle systems and components.
• Configure aircraft and bench‑test equipment, and direct troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems.
• Oversee validation and verification testing, document procedures, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect repaired components for flight‑worthiness and supervise safe handling activities such as jacking and towing.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of C‑17 maintenance experience.
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance (interim or final).
• Fluent English reading, comprehension and speaking skills.
• Willingness to meet cultural requirements of Kuwait and work one of two shifts, Sunday‑through‑Thursday, including weekends and holidays as needed.
