Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance & Renovations

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our hotel’s maintenance team. The successful candidate will carry out carpentry projects, repairs and installations that keep our facilities safe, functional and visually appealing for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Execute carpentry projects including repairs, installations and renovations in line with safety and quality standards.
• Craft and install furniture, cabinets, fixtures and other wooden elements using a range of tools and materials.
• Conduct routine inspections of wooden structures, identify maintenance needs and perform corrective work.
• Collaborate with other maintenance professionals to solve complex carpentry challenges.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches and specifications to ensure precise workmanship.
• Maintain organized inventory of tools, materials and equipment.
• Support supervisors in planning and prioritising projects based on hotel requirements.
• Keep the workshop and storage areas tidy and well‑stocked.
• Participate in training to stay current with industry trends, safety protocols and new techniques.
