Category Growth Expert – Grocery

About the role

Keeta is expanding its grocery business in Kuwait and is looking for a Category Growth Expert to shape category strategy, drive commercial performance and support rapid retail growth. You will work across commercial, operations and product teams to build scalable frameworks that boost both customer acquisition and merchant success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category growth strategies using local market insights and customer trends.
• Design pricing models and allowance strategies that balance customer growth, merchant success and profitability.
• Monitor competitor pricing and optimise commercial performance across categories.
• Track key business metrics such as GMV, orders, conversion and category performance, delivering regular business reviews with actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Commercial, Operations, Product and frontline teams to implement initiatives, building scalable processes, performance frameworks and incentive mechanisms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in category management, commercial strategy or retail analytics.
• Background in e‑commerce, grocery, retail or local services.
• Proven experience with pricing strategy, category planning, assortment management and commercial performance.
• Strong analytical ability to use data for strategic decisions.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluent in English; experience in overseas or GCC markets is highly preferred.
