Category Manager - Beauty

About the role

Talabat is launching a dedicated Beauty vertical and needs a proactive Category Manager to shape and grow the offering across the region. You will own the end‑to‑end commercial strategy, from assortment planning to supplier negotiations and promotional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Beauty category (skincare, cosmetics, haircare, fragrance, personal care) and define a strategy aligned with regional consumer trends.
• Curate a competitive assortment, onboard new brands, and negotiate pricing, rebates, and exclusivity terms.
• Set and monitor pricing, manage the promotions calendar, and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Replenishment teams to optimise store layout, merchandising, forecasting and inventory levels.
• Track and report on KPIs such as sales, gross margin, conversion and basket size.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in category management, buying or commercial roles within the beauty industry.
• Strong commercial mindset with a proven ability to drive growth and profitability.
• Deep knowledge of beauty product categories and emerging trends (e.g., clean beauty, K‑beauty, halal‑certified).
• Entrepreneurial attitude and comfort working in a fast‑moving e‑commerce environment.
