About the role
The Cathodic Protection Engineer will oversee contractor documentation, verify design compliance, and ensure QHSE standards during construction and commissioning of on‑shore pipelines. The role also includes providing on‑the‑job training to client personnel and acting as a liaison between the client and contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and review contractor requisitions, work packages, risk assessments and method statements to optimise work processes.
- Witness and verify compliance with design specifications, overseeing construction and commissioning activities.
- Ensure QHSE standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Provide on‑the‑job training to the client’s counterpart.
- Perform liaison duties between the client and contractor and report to the Resident Engineer.
Required profile
- 5–10 years of pipeline experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- 2–5 years of experience in design and construction of on‑shore pipelines.
- Familiarity with industry standard codes and construction practices.
- Based in Al‑Kuwait.
