Civil Engineer – Telecom Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to lead telecom civil infrastructure projects in Kuwait. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle from site surveys to final hand‑over while ensuring compliance with client specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage telecom civil works from survey, execution, inspection, testing to final acceptance.
• Conduct site surveys, kick‑off meetings and coordinate implementation with clients and internal teams.
• Review Foundation Design Documents (FDD) and supervise foundation, reinforcement, formwork, excavation and concrete works.
• Coordinate soil investigations, utility clearances, Proctor and field density tests, and third‑party inspections.
• Ensure all activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, QA/QC and HSE standards.
• Prepare and submit project documentation such as MOPs, material requests, PAC/PAT records and as‑built drawings.
• Work with procurement to secure timely material delivery and monitor project progress, providing regular reports.
• Manage inspections, snag clearance, project acceptance and hand‑over while maintaining complete documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in telecom civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with telecom tower sites, foundations, shelters and concrete works.
• Familiarity with telecom operators such as IHSK, Ooredoo, STC, Zain or TCIL (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of telecom civil standards, construction procedures, QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Hands‑on site supervision, customer coordination and project documentation experience.
• Knowledge of FDD, soil investigation, utility detection, Proctor testing and civil inspection procedures.
• Kuwait Society of Engineers membership and a valid Kuwait driving licence are a plus.
