Civil Estimation Engineer – Construction Cost Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Civil Estimation Engineer to join our construction team in Kuwait City. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take‑offs, and supporting tender processes for civil projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for civil construction projects.
• Perform quantity take‑offs from architectural and structural drawings.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Calculate material quantities, conduct cost analysis, and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
• Assist in tender preparation, bid submissions, and project budgeting.
• Maintain estimation records, project documentation, and prepare variation orders when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in civil estimation or quantity surveying.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with construction projects and tendering procedures is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Competence with Microsoft Office suite.
