Collection Agent

About the role

The Collection Agent is responsible for ensuring timely recovery of overdue payments from our customer portfolio. The role involves daily communication with customers, field visits for warning letters, and maintaining accurate follow‑up records.

Key responsibilities

• Make daily telephone calls to customers with overdue accounts.
• Coordinate with the Team Leader to send SMS reminders as needed.
• Escalate issues to the Team Leader for resolution.
• Conduct field visits to deliver warning letters at customers' homes or workplaces.
• Send fax communications to customers' workplaces.
• Record follow‑up notes on customer payments.
• Respond to customer queries regarding their accounts.
• Gather new customer contact information and provide it to the Team Leader for system updates.
• Maintain confidentiality of the customer database.
• Identify high‑risk cases and report them to the Team Leader.
• Update daily payment status reports.
• Promote a positive team spirit among colleagues.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent education.
• 2–3 years of experience in installment or retail collections, or related call‑center work.
• Prior experience in a legal office is an advantage.
• Strong team player with good negotiation and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with locations across Kuwait to facilitate field visits.
• Research and investigative skills to locate individuals.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet collection targets.
