Collection Agent

About the role

The Collection Agent is responsible for ensuring timely recovery of overdue payments from customers in Kuwait. The role involves proactive communication, field visits, and coordination with the team to maintain a healthy receivables portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Make daily telephone calls to customers with overdue accounts.
• Request SMS notifications from the Team Leader as needed.
• Escalate issues to the Team Leader for resolution.
• Conduct field visits to deliver warning letters at customers' homes or workplaces.
• Send faxes to customers' workplaces when required.
• Record follow‑up notes on customer payments.
• Respond to customer queries promptly.
• Research and collect new customer contact information for system updates.
• Maintain confidentiality of the customer database.
• Communicate daily with customers across all categories.
• Identify high‑risk cases and report them to the Team Leader.
• Update daily payment status reports.
• Promote a positive team spirit.
• Prepare collection and follow‑up documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent education.
• 2‑3 years of experience in installment or retail collection calls.
• Experience in a law office is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork orientation.
• Familiarity with locations throughout Kuwait.
• Ability to research and locate individuals within Kuwait.
• Capacity to work under pressure.
• Effective negotiation and communication skills with diverse customers.
