About the role
The Jumeirah Messilah Beach hotel is seeking a motivated Commis 2 to join the Main Kitchen cold section. This entry‑level position supports the culinary team in delivering high‑quality dishes while maintaining strict safety and hygiene standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior kitchen staff in preparing cold dishes and plating.
- Report any accidents, sickness, or equipment breakdowns promptly to the Chef de Cuisine.
- Support the team by requesting assistance before any operational issues arise.
- Follow company policies on safety, food hygiene, and safe food handling.
- Adhere to culinary standards, recipes, and preparation procedures.
Required profile
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support teammates.
- Ability to respond positively to changes in departmental functions.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Required skills
- Food hygiene knowledge.
