About the role

The Main Kitchen at Jumeirah Messilah Beach is seeking a Commis 2 to work in the cold section. You will support the culinary team in daily operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior kitchen staff with preparation and service in the cold section.
• Report accidents, sickness, and equipment breakdowns promptly to the Chef de Cuisine.
• Identify potential issues before they occur and communicate them to prevent disruptions.
• Follow all safety, food hygiene, and culinary standard procedures.
• Contribute positively to team spirit and uphold the hotel’s service standards.
