About the role
The Commis Chef joins MAF Entertainment’s kitchen team to deliver high‑quality dishes that meet brand standards. Working closely with the Sous Chef, you will support daily operations while ensuring strict compliance with health, safety and food‑hygiene regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to recipes and brand guidelines.
- Report any stock, mechanical or equipment issues to the Chef on duty immediately.
- Follow HACCP procedures and maintain safe food‑handling practices.
- Keep kitchen and operating equipment clean and in good working order.
- Manage venue timing, cleaning and MEP readiness for each service.
- Store and rotate goods using FIFO principles.
- Participate in quality checks and maintain knowledge of ingredients.
Required profile
- Certificate, course or diploma in the hospitality industry.
- Person In Charge (PIC) level 2 certification.
- Strong commitment to delivering consistent, exceptional quality.
- Professional appearance and communication style.
Required skills
- Food safety and HACCP compliance.
- Operation of kitchen equipment.
- FIFO inventory management.
