Commis Chef Positions – Hot, Cold & Pastry (Kuwait City)

About the role

We are a well‑known restaurant chain seeking enthusiastic commis chefs to join our kitchen teams in Kuwait City. Three separate openings are available – one for the hot section (continental cuisine), one for the cold section (salads and sandwiches) and one for the pastry section. All roles are full‑time and based on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs in preparing and cooking dishes according to the menu and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in the assigned section.
• Prepare ingredients, assemble plates, and ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Support inventory control by receiving and storing supplies properly.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience or training in a kitchen environment, preferably with continental cuisine, cold dishes, or pastry.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced team.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards.

Required skills

• Knife handling and basic cooking techniques.
• Food preparation for hot, cold, or pastry items as relevant to the position.
