Commis III – Pastry/Bakery (Kuwait)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Commis III to join our pastry and bakery team in Kuwait. You will support the Pastry Chef and senior staff in preparing high‑quality desserts, pastries, breads and other baked products according to established recipes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Pastry Chef and senior pastry team in daily production.
• Measure and prepare ingredients accurately following recipes.
• Help prepare pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, creams, fillings and other bakery items.
• Perform basic pastry tasks such as mixing, whipping, piping, moulding, decorating and baking.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, appearance and portion size.
• Follow food preparation, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Store ingredients and equipment properly and keep workstations clean and organized.
• Support mise en place, FIFO stock rotation and minimise food waste.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Commis III, Pastry Commis or Bakery Commis is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of pastry and bakery preparation.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Good teamwork, communication and willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Professional grooming and personal hygiene.
