Commis – Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Commis to join our culinary team in Kuwait. The role offers a hands‑on introduction to professional kitchen operations and a chance to develop cooking techniques under the guidance of experienced chefs. Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs in preparing and presenting dishes to our high culinary standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow food‑safety and sanitation procedures.
• Handle, label, and store food ingredients correctly, ensuring proper dating.
• Support timely meal execution during service periods.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to a collaborative and positive team atmosphere.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality role.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredient handling and food preparation.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with standard culinary equipment.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible availability for shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
