Compliance Manager

About the role

The Compliance Manager will lead the development, maintenance and strengthening of compliance programs for a financial services firm in Kuwait. You will act as the primary liaison with regulators and ensure the company meets all reporting and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, review and upgrade compliance programs and practices.
• Maintain continuous compliance with regulators such as CMA, Boursa Kuwait, MOCI and KCC, serving as the principal point of contact.
• Oversee filing of audited financial statements and related regulatory requirements.
• Provide management with detailed compliance reports and advise stakeholders on regulatory procedures.
• Develop and execute action plans for compliance violations and regularly update company policies.
• Educate employees on regulatory changes and coordinate with HR on insider registration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (compliance‑related certificates preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of managerial experience in compliance, customer service or related fields.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwaiti regulatory frameworks (CMA, Boursa Kuwait, MOCI, KCC).
