Consultant Obstetrician (Female Candidates)

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in Kuwait is looking for an experienced Consultant Obstetrician to deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. The role involves managing routine and complex cases while ensuring high‑quality patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of obstetric and gynecological conditions.
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, including high‑risk pregnancy management and obstetric emergencies.
• Perform gynecological examinations, procedures, and surgeries within the scope of practice.
• Offer care for menstrual disorders, infertility, menopause and other reproductive health issues.
• Conduct prenatal counselling and patient education.
• Collaborate with maternal‑fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, surgeons and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical protocols.

Required profile

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Post‑specialisation clinical experience at Specialist or Consultant level.
• Strong knowledge of modern obstetric and gynecological treatment protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Open to female candidates only.
