Consultant Petroleum Engineer

About the role

Anton is seeking a senior Consultant Petroleum Engineer to provide expert advice and strategic guidance on complex technical, operational, and business challenges within its Energy Management Services division in Kuwait. The role involves leading assessments, driving improvement initiatives, and supporting decision‑making at senior management level.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation and recommendations to management on complex technical, operational, and business challenges.
• Define study scopes, lead assessments, and identify opportunities, risks, and improvement areas.
• Analyze technical and commercial issues, coordinate data collection, and support informed decision‑making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to investigate challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Prepare analytical findings, reports, and proposals for management review.
• Evaluate business processes, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Advise on adoption and implementation of new processes, systems, technologies, and business practices.
• Review business plans and provide guidance to achieve organizational objectives.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Coach, mentor, and share knowledge to build employee capability.
• Apply risk management principles and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in petroleum engineering or related fields.
• Proven experience delivering strategic, technical, or business advisory services to senior management.
• Strong background in conducting studies, evaluations, and business improvement initiatives.
• Ability to analyze complex technical, commercial, and operational issues and develop practical solutions.
• Experience in organizational planning, process improvement, and change management.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
