Consultant Radiologist – Mammography

About the role

The Consultant Radiologist – Mammography will deliver specialized diagnostic imaging services, including screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, MRI interpretation, and image‑guided procedures. The role focuses on accurate, timely diagnoses while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI interpretation.
• Carry out image‑guided procedures such as biopsies and lesion localisation.
• Produce reports adhering to BI‑RADS and other imaging standards.
• Collaborate with clinicians to support effective clinical decision‑making.

Required profile

• 9+ years post‑qualification experience in diagnostic radiology with a focus on mammography and women’s imaging.
• Medical degree and specialty training (PhD, Fellowship, Board Certification) from USA, Canada, UK, Germany, GCC or equivalent.
• Eligible for consultant‑level licensing with the Kuwait Ministry of Health.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
