Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

The Cyber Security Analyst will monitor, analyse and respond to security incidents across the organisation's systems and networks. Based in Kuwait, the role focuses on incident investigation, threat hunting and vulnerability management to continuously improve the security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse security events from multiple platforms, assess severity and impact.
• Perform Level 2 incident analysis, classification and prioritisation.
• Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication and recovery.
• Investigate root causes of phishing, malware, data breaches and unauthorised access.
• Collect and preserve forensic evidence and produce investigation reports.
• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting using threat‑intelligence feeds, behavioural analytics and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Develop, tune and optimise detection rules for DLP, email security, endpoint protection and insider‑threat monitoring.
• Manage Secure Email Gateway platforms and enforce access‑management policies.
• Plan and execute penetration testing and weekly vulnerability assessments, coordinating remediation.
• Provide operational network support and run cybersecurity awareness campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Level 2 incident analysis and response.
• Hands‑on experience with threat hunting and forensic investigations.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and threat‑intelligence integration.
• Experience conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
• Ability to develop and fine‑tune security detection use cases.
• Strong understanding of access‑management and privilege controls.
