Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

The Cyber Security Analyst will monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents across the organization’s systems and networks. The role focuses on incident investigation, threat hunting, and vulnerability management to continuously improve the security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze security events from multiple platforms, assess severity, and prioritize incidents.
• Lead Level 2 incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Investigate root causes of phishing, malware, data breaches, and unauthorized access.
• Collect and preserve forensic evidence and produce investigation reports with remediation recommendations.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting using threat intelligence feeds, behavioral analytics, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Develop, tune, and optimize detection rules for DLP, email security, endpoint protection, and insider threat monitoring.
• Manage Secure Email Gateway platforms and enforce access and privilege controls.
• Plan and execute penetration testing and weekly vulnerability assessments, tracking remediation progress.
• Provide operational network support and lead cybersecurity awareness campaigns and events.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity incident analysis and response.
• Ability to conduct forensic investigations and produce clear reports.
• Strong understanding of threat hunting methodologies and vulnerability management.
