Data Center Storage Engineer - Secret Clearance

About the role

The Data Center Storage Engineer provides enterprise‑level support and optimization for the storage infrastructure across the RCC‑SWA Area of Responsibility. The role involves managing NetApp, EMC and related storage platforms, ensuring high availability, performance and compliance with security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide enterprise‑level support for NetApp CIFS, NFS, iSCSI and FC/FCoE storage presented to VMware ESXi, Unix, Linux and Windows clients.
• Monitor storage health, capacity, utilization and system uptime; generate periodic reports.
• Configure and provision VMware storage requirements and manage Windows DFS file services.
• Plan, install, upgrade and patch NetApp and EMC storage infrastructure, including firmware updates.
• Lead complex storage projects such as backup, disaster recovery, de‑duplication, data protection and system audits.
• Document tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) for storage configuration, access control and high‑availability designs.
• Review IAVA reports and coordinate remediation actions across subordinate elements.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Relevant experience with enterprise storage platforms (NetApp, EMC) and virtualization (VMware).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a host‑nation visa and driver’s license for Kuwait.
