Demi Chef de Partie – Lebanese Cuisine

About the role

The Four Seasons hotel in Kuwait City is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join its culinary team. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting authentic Lebanese dishes that meet the brand’s high standards of flavor, texture and visual appeal.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate Lebanese menu items with precision and consistency.
• Assist in menu planning and develop recipes that blend traditional flavors with modern presentation.
• Maintain strict kitchen hygiene, food safety and sanitation in line with HACCP and hotel policies.
• Control food costs through effective purchasing, portion control and waste reduction.
• Supervise, train and motivate Commis and junior staff members.
• Conduct regular quality and taste checks to ensure authenticity.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
• Adapt to various shifts and kitchen stations as required.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for menu improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience preparing authentic Lebanese cuisine.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and kitchen areas.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
